You can claim a tax refund online, by phone 0135 535 9022, 0300 200 3300 or by letter for tax years 6 April 2015 – 5 April 2016.
To claim tax refund for year 2016/17 or 2017/18 you will need your P800 notification letter from the HMRC tax office. Read more about tax refund here.
Send this letter and the necessary documents to Pay As You Earn and Self Assessment HM Revenue and Customs BX9 1AS. You can also use a nominee’s (family or friend) UK bank account to receive your tax refund.
